Got a question about the Wii

Games

Upon emulation, what games can I play with the Wii? I'm aware lots of folks play NES and I think SNES games on emulators, but really anything beyond that is going to require another controller right? I can either shell out for a Wii Classic Controller, or just plug these emulators into my PC without all the hassle right? Are there any other big advantages to hacking your Wii other than emus? What homebrew apps are out there that will really make me want to mod my Wii? At this point, I'm considering just getting rid of it, but if convinced I may end up modding it instead. What's the verdict?

If your using homebrew emulation then you just need a controller and a nunchuck for all your buttons. Wii Emulators work just like PC ones.
As for what else you can do hackign it, I tend to use my Wii as a media center more often then i'm actually playing games on it, although keep in mind you can't do HD vids on it.
