Comex’s new Wii exploit aka “BannerBomb”

Friday, April 24th, 2009

This exploit was formally is known as “BannerBomb”. By malforming a channel that is saved on your SD card you can form the Wii to go into mataince mode and launch a pre-assigned .Dol file. Eventually this will be used to get around no Twilight Princess Hack in 4.0. Looks pretty sweet can’t wait till it comes out. Comex released a beta tester / information gathering tool for this exploit a week or 3 back, so hopefully that means this is coming out soon.

Sad Wii Scene News and Updates

Thursday, April 16th, 2009

Sad news, Bushing just offically anounced that Marcan has moved on to other non-Wii related projects. I for one will miss his “I don’t take shit from retards” stance and his contrabutions to the Wii Homebrew Scene. In better news screen shots of BootMii has been released and it’s sexy. Also a Usb loader that allows you to boot ISO’s off USB drives have been released, I plan on covering an internal drive mod for it in the next few day on my site. Also with the Release of the USB loader and 4.0 updates, the hacking forums in GBATemp have became just about useless, 90% of all topics are how do I update or how do I use the loader… so sad. Oh and the Cops still have my Wii… holding it till the DA says it can be released.

How to Sync an Un-syncable Wii
